This turn was Shieldwall's Winter's Warming Wyvern Scale Workshop. I had almost missed it. It's easy to lose track of time in the mountains. Between looking for good rocks, good seed, and good training it is easy to just... lose yourself.
I made it there several marcs late, but a good crowd was still working. Aria was there. When I went to greet her she yelled at me. Told me to stay away. She was hiding something from me - a gift. More than that! A sickle. Small, easy to hold in one hand. It is hewn from a wyvern scale and the iridescent sheen bends and twists in the light. I'll have to ask her where she learned such a trade. The sickle will be great for smaller jobs and tight spaces. It will need a handle, but that is easy enough to put together - just a good wooden shaft and a few strips of boshide.
I haven't seen Bo in awhile. Was supposed to go to the Dragon's Ball, but missed out on that. I hope she is doing okay. The cold can really get to people, wear them down.
I did meet with Bris - I think I wrote about that last time - and he seemed in disarray. Maybe that isn't because of the cold. But it certainly doesn't help.
Well. Back to it.
